Kongo the Dog needs a home

Kongo is a 5 year old Boxer mix with the cutest underbite ever! His pictures do not do him justice. He is only about 40 lbs and very well mannered. He knows basic commands. He is wonderful in the crate and working on house training. He is good with other dogs with proper introductions. Kongo will do best in a home with no small children (under 6). This boy is such a love and will make a lucky family very happy.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers and we require a home check for each of our adoptable pets prior to them going to their new homes, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family further than 60 miles from Charlotte is responsible for finding a representative of a rescue local to them that is willing to perform the home check. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as the application is approved.***
